Description

Benjamin Moloise was a 28-year-old poet and upholsterer sentenced to death on 6 June 1983. He was wrongly accused of shooting a security policeman. The only evidence against him was a confession obtained after threats of torture. This leaflet asked people to write to the South African President calling for his release. In spite of a long-running international campaign he was executed on 18 October 1985.
