Description
In July 1984 13 shopworkers at Dunnes Stores in Dublin went on strike after a colleague was suspended for refusing to handle a South African grapefruit. This pamphlet set out the background to the strike and events during the first nine months. The strikers were harassed by the Irish police but received support from all over the world. They held out until April 1987, when the Irish Government banned the imports of goods from South Africa.
