Description
Two workers at the Leicester-based company Granby Plastics, Ross Galbraith and Gary Sherriff, were sacked in December 1989 for refusing to work on a South African export order. The company exported Nyoil to South Africa, a product that could be used as a lubricant for guns issued by the South African Defence Force. The photo shows the two men leading a solidarity march through Leicester town centre on 9 December 1989.
