Cheltenham AA Group’s newsletter reproduced a resolution passed by Gloucestershire County Council declaring the county to be an apartheid free zone. It publicised campaigns on the consumer boycott, Barclays Bank and Shell. It advertised a social event held jointly with Greenpeace, CND, the local unemployed and women’s centres, and Oxfam and Amnesty.
